Spots on her Leaves

Hi All,

The orchid you see in the picture was moved from kitchen to the bathroom where after 3 days has developed those strange stains on one of the leaves... Does anybody know what could it be ? It may help if I say that the leaf with those spots was facing the window....

Thanks a lot,
German

It sure looks like sunburn to me. The depressed areas may darken with a little time. I've not had it myself(so far) but it looks like some examples that I've seen in some books.

It looks like sunburn magnified through water droplets.

Thanks a lot for your replies to my message. The plant has been moved back to the kitchen. It actually surprises me that the spots are due to sunburns since the last days were mostly cloudy, although I must admit there were sunny intervals (temperature still below 6 C in uk) and I have not paid attention to what was going on with this phal at the window. Anyway, could you please let me know what to expect then ? Will those stains become yellow ? will the leaf perish ? Shall i do something on that area ?

Thanks very much for your help on this.
German
