Phal disease?!

This has showed up on my phal the plant still looks healthy and it has been there for about a week. The first pic is more accurate to the leaf color and the second is more accurate to what the circle looks like. Should i be worried?

It looks like some kind of bacterial or fungal spotting. Is it spreading?

No it has just been in that little dot for about a week now it doesn't seem to be affecting the plant at all it is in bloom and the flowers are all in good condition.

I have had some phal leaves with similar spots over the years and they seem to develop then do nothing with the leaf surviving and apparently functioning normally. There are some fungi that make little rings like this.

I tend to be conservative in treating these, especially in a case like this where the "condition" does not seem to be advancing or life threatening. My approach would be to watch it and use no or minimal intervention unless something changes. Some folks here on the forum will disagree and prefer to treat aggressively and intervene with fungicides. Maybe wait for some of those second opinions and then decide. It looks like there's no emergency.

I generally ignore things like this. I suppose if someone were concerned about showing plants, some regular, but not too often, use of a fungicide, maybe a systemic, might be a good plan. Me, I don't seem to have enough time to feed them like I should, and only got well into the fungicide thing when the problems got severe.

patlee is on a distinguished road
I had the exact same type of spot last year. All I did was watch it and apply a little cinnamon on a q-tip.It never spread and the plant is in spike right now. The only downer is that it kind of ruins the looks of an otherwise perfect leaf.
Good growing...

hmm on eof my phal has that spot as well, I didnt worry about it at all coz it growth normally, but patlee is right, I read it on the orchid website that cinnamon contain antibiotic (not sure though) so nothing wrong if you spray cinnamon solution to the leaf and the root.
