Help I have scale!!

I was in the green house this morning and found that I had scale on one plant (why not). I then put him outside. I proceeded to look more and found that most of my plants across the greenhouse had scale. Only one plant on the side of why not had scale. (adults anyway) I think that I might go into lowe's and get some ultra fine oil. Do you all have any experience with scale and how to get rid of it.
Thanks in advance
cassie

One of my phals once had it. I used cotton buds (Q Tip) soaked in methelated spirits to remove the visible ones. Not the easiest of things to get rid of.

If it's that numerous on your plants, I would spray with Bayer Advanced Rose and
Flower 3 in 1. It's systemic and should get rid of your scale problem.

Or you can use Bayer Advanced 3 in 1. It'll take care of everything.

Sorry Tobi! You edited your thread before I got the chance to put it up! Rose and Flower and 3 in 1 are different.

Search for a post by Cynthia on scale. It was long, detailed and gave a lot of information.

Thanks everyone for your input. I called my former president from my society and he actually has it also. He told me to use the Bayer Advanced tree and shrub, ultra fine oil and some dish detergent. I sprayed those little suckers well. I did look up scale in a search after I posted. After being the key word.
Thanks again,
cassie
