Black Spotts On Zygopetalum/Bulbophyllum!

I recently received a zygopetalum from a friend, and sadly, I've discovered these black spots on the leaves! The older leaves are most stricken, though some younger growth is as well. The spots are mostly the size of roughly ground pepper, and are pitted/indented. What could this be? phyllosticta? I've also noticed it on my bulbo! I've had an uh-oh moment and cut away the more heavily spotted sections, though some peppery spots are still on some parts of each plant.

probably come from fungus. nothing serious. just control your watering . Dont spray water
on the leaves. If the plant is outdoor bring it in or at least provide some type of
shelter

this is a common thing with zygopetalum,s

zygos don't take kindly to to much water on the leaves.
I give mine a very light mist with a sprayer

Bulbos should be kept on the warm side I suspect. Anyway, any culture that is not to a plants liking will often result in black spotting. Spores are ever present, so look to the culture for prevention.

I get the feeling that you're trying to say something about air circulation... I rigged my own indoor air system with small fans taken from prebuilt terrariums. The fans admittedly cover every area save the one my afflicted bulbo occupied.. I see you point; time for more fans!
