| clear, sticky tiny dewdrops on my dendrobium! dear community, please help! a dendrobium of mine has developed these little dew-drop-looking tiny clear bubbles on them - what can they be? wondering if it is a disease or some kind of parasite? any help much appreciated. thank you! |

| It is totally normal. I likewise have a dendrobium that has been blooming non-stop for 14 months now and the flower spikes are covered with little clear sugar drops. Enjoy them! mike |

| thanks mike! mike, thank you so much - i've never seen those dew-drops on my other orchids, but the dendrobium is otherwise very healthy and blooming and seems happy~ do you know what they are? they are strange and sticky.. |

| I had so much dew on the spike of one orchid I thought maybe the plant secretes it to trap bugs as they craw up the spike. My spike was worse than fly paper. On the thinner leaved dens, especially if they are not blooming, you want to check for mites. But dew on the flower spikes is quite normal.
