Snails

I was watering my cymbidiums today and was inspecting the roots and potting medium before setting it down when I noticed a snail at the base of a bulb! I couldn't believe it because I live on the 11th floor of a high rise building and I have been keeping my cymbidiums indoors. I wonder how long it has been there since I've had it for about 4-5 months now. I can't imagine a snail could have sneaked in from my balcony. Does that mean there could be more snails? Of course I discarded it right away. Luckily, it was easy to catch.

I would keep an eye out if you see any more and remove them also.

as we all know snails do more harm to orchids than good.
