What kind of bug is this? (Photos)

Hi everyone thanks for the help i'm new with orchids!

My mom gave me an in spike Phal a few months ago and the first four flowers have now opened. It has been doing great, however when i woke up this morning, the lowest flower had all the moisture sucked out of it and i could see all the veins?! It was obviously too far gone so i pulled it off to inspect and found 2 of these critters inside the shriveled flower.

I've looked online but cant find any pics that look exactly like this guy. Lengthwise i'd say he's almost the size of a pea.

Gross.. what are they?? I have lots of other houseplants in great health and im worried about these spreading.

It appears to be some kind of tarnished bug. It has a sucker tucked under its head that it uses on leaves and I guess in your case flowers as well. These types of "true" bugs include the more familiar squash bugs.
