Angry something eating flower buds

Hi everyone

I was amazed to see my Cattleya has 2 flower buds coming up, but they had a slight mark on them both over the last week there is a hole and it is getting bigger, it is now right thru the flowers, something is eating them and I can't find anything, does anyone know what this could be, I had this on another Catt. and thought it was slugs but this one is hanging up, and the same thing is happening? Please help

I had the same thing happen to a Phal-type Den NOID that a friend gave me. There was a tiny hoe that got bigger and bigger each day. Finally, I was really looking at the hole up close, and I saw something move!! Scared the mess outta me. It was a tiny little worm/caterpillar/wiggly thing! It did some major damage before I found it and took it out with a toothpick.
