Do I have a problem?

I checked on my s/h babies this morning and the Mtssa. C M Fitch 'Izumi' has some weird things going on on a couple leaves. Can't be sunburn, as they are in a shaded location. Any ideas?

How recent is the growth with those leaves? If it's an old growth, I'd be inclined to think it's just the normal dropping of old leaves, otherwise I'd be concerned.

Almost all of the p'bulbs on this one were there when I got it. I have two newer growths that are about 5-6 inches, but no p'bulbs on them yet. I will check it out when I get home tonight and try not to stress.

When I first saw the title to this thread I thought it was a problem regarding orchid addiction!

I wouldn't worry to much yet. If you are really concerned you could use a sterilized cutter and remove the leaf and dust with cinnamon. I am treating some today with Phyton who have questionable p-bulb or leaf issues.

Good luck.

I read from someone's writings that newly repotted plants on S/H will lose its old leaves and old roots...when it get used to the media it will grow new leaves and roots; I saw the pictures and theres nothing wrong with the plant itself...its green and thriving.

OK. First thing when I got home, I took another look. The leaves do look like they are attached to some of the older p'bulbs. I'll leave them on for now...Thanks to everyone for your advice.
