Thumbs up Try using asprin

Asprin was first extracted from plants, but the plants certainly did not evolve the chemical to cure our headaches.

Plants developed it as a pest control. A chemical that would protect them from ravaging insects.

Use asprin at the rate of 3 pills per 5 gallons of water and spray over your plants. A cheap preventative that may do a lot of good for you orchids.

Thumbs up tobacco

Nice suggestion, I never though of this.Nicotine is a powerful insecticide also,Plus any home brew should have a few drops of dish soap per gallon to break the surface tension of the water,It helps the brew stick better.

Interesting . Willow contains the ingrediant in aspirin . Green willow sprigs put in with a plant slip in water promotes root growth . Never thought about it preventing bugs . Thanks for the Info. Gin

Interesting idea! I'll be eager to try it next time I get those annoying bugs.
