Exclamation OH NO!!!! i found my first ever mealy bugs

Hi everyone,
Today I was inspecting my chids and I found 3 mealy bugs on one of my very first Paphs.
this is on one of the shelves in my set up, and this is what I've done so far from paying attention to threads I've read on here.
I wiped off the bugs, un potted it threw ot the mix outside trash tied up in a bag scrubbed the pot out and left it out side. Got a new pot.
Made Brookin's recipe and added 15 drops of rubbing alcohol 70 percent (just in case ) and spritzed it until it was sopping wet let it sit 10 mins. Re checked it making sure I got all its nooks and cranys and let it sit another 10 min. Then I turned it upside down to drain out the re potted it in new mix. I then proceeded to spritz the heck out of every thing and extra with it shelf mates and ones within 3 feet (these all extra dosed) and a good spritzing for everyone else.
The seedling from the flasked are enclosed and are not in this area (they will be ok right?). I checked every single orchid I found no others but I sprayed em all anyways.

Any further recommendations welcomed : )
And thank you all for your in put and thank you for teaching me from threads what to do. I jumped into ER paramedic mode and didn't skip a beat ( we got a pulse doctor) now what should I do? Lol
Thank you in advance

UUUUUGGGHHHH - Mealies: bane of my existence. i had to give up a Sedirea to mealies. it was either cull 1 plant or lose my entire collection. still bummed on that one.

i would suggest isolating your Paph from your entire collection. when i was treating my Sedirea, it would seem as if they problem went away, but then a month later i'd see the mealies back. either i missed eggs on stems or what, it was a losing battle.

just be vigilant, move your Paph away from the rest, and keep your eye on it. if after a few months you see nothing, consider your problem solved.

Sit and wait Inspect every couple of days. If you got them earlier enough with one spraying you maybe alright. Check out the little clippy things. Mealies like to hang out in the spring area. You did the right thing by treating the plants in the ineffected area. Right now I'm fighting a mite infestation on my phals
