Hello to all my Orchid Geek Friends

I have been away for an extended period of time & have missed the forum & my friends. I had someone caring for my chids but sadly I lost a couple of them.
Have replaced them with new ones, hee, hee. I have a question today: I
have had bark soaking & didn't drain the water, it's been sitting now for two
weeks in the water. Did this harm the bark, do I have to chuck it?
Aine

Assuming it is good quality bark I believe it would be fine - I'd use it and have done so with similar circumstances with no ill effects. BTW - welcome back!

I've done that too and it would start to smell a tad moldy. I splashed a bit of bleach into it and swirled it around and then waited a while before using it.
