Question What is this discoloration and spots?

I noticed this recently on a Schomb. of mine. What is the yellow discoloratoin and the tips indicating. And there are a couple areas with spots that I am not sure if they are fungal or bacterial.

One of the old psuedobulbs also is discolored but not mushy...very firm to the touch. There is a couple new growths and I do not see this on it. One is halfway mature and is very healthy and green.

Any clues as to what I should do to remedy this problem would be appreciated.

I'm having this leaf discoloration problem on some of my dens too. Hope it's not a virus!

IF the discoloration is on an old pbulb I wouldn't worry about it. Most old growths as they age get really ugly and you can't wait for the growths to totally die so you can pluck them out.

If you are getting the spots on new growths you might have a problem. If the new growths are all a good color, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank you Brook. If the new growth starts showing signs of the same thing then what kind of problem might I be dealing with?

Shann I don't know. I can only tell you if it is on old growth, I don't worry about it.

I bought some Physan 20 today. Maybe tomorrow I will spray the guy down just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for your input Brooke, I appreciate it.
