Are These Bug Eggs?

Greetings all, Can anyone tell this newbie if these are bug eggs and if so, what are they? I used a soap, cinnamon extract solution and soaked it for 10minutes. Looks like some of them have died but others look pretty healthy, unfortunately. This picture is highly magnified. The "Eggs" are about the size of the ball in a ball point pen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Those are not eggs, I believe those are full grown scale. Rub them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol, and if they come off, you have an infestation. Get a product that will deal with scale. Be persistant, they are extremely hard to erradicate. And be sure to also treat the medium as the eggs lurk there.

It looks like Bosduval scale to me. You'll need a systemic insecticide.
