Lovely flowers. The leaf discolouration looks like sunburn. Maybe a little too much direct sun?

Some of my orchids got this discolorization after the cold we had last January. How long have they been this way?

Sometimes a snail will crawl over the leaf and take just enough of the surface off and it will looks like yours.

Has it been extremely hot/ heat wave recently ? Or cold snap over there ? It really does look like sun burn other than this weird weather all over the place lately and extreme heat like over here then cold at night condensation maybe and sun during extreme heat or in between rains.
How has the weather been?
Hope it gets figured out : )
Its beautiful

That doesn't necessarily rule out sunburn. Different orchids respond differently, even different cattleyas respond differently. 2 summers ago when I had so many burnt plants I had cattleyas and and ascocenda together. Some but not all cattleyas got burned and the ascocenda got burned. Also having some but not all leaves burned also does not rule out sunburn. Some but not all leaves of my cattleyas burned.

Sunburn can also happen after using neem oil or horticultural oil. The oil magnifies the sun on the leaf.
