Please help identify and rid my orchid of this

So I have had this orchid for about 6 -8 months, I have noticed these black growths at the roots it would appear, and they seem to be getting more numerous. They are hard to the touch, and do not break off easily. I am concerned for my orchid's safety, and I am not sure what these are, or even if they are apart of the plant itself, but ive never heard of these growing off an orchid. Im not sure what type of orchid it is, so also please if you know please help identify. thank you for the help.

The orchid looks like a Miltassia hybrid of some sort. As it is a hybrid, a more specific ID will not be possible.

The little black things look like mushrooms fo some kind. They're relatively harmless but could indicate your mix is breaking down too much and your orchid needs to be repotted. When did you last repot?

i have not yet repotted since this is a relatively new orchid to my collection. Will repotting just bring those mushrooms like things with it? And why are they hard, and difficult to remove?

Have you repotted an orchid yet? Repotting means you get rid of all the old mix and replace it with fresh mix. You wouldn't be transferring the mushrooms with it. They'd get tossed out with the old mix. I don't understand your second question.

If you haven't already done so, get yourself a good beginner's orchid book. I recommend Ortho's All About Orchids. It goes into a great deal of detail on orchid mixes and repotting orchids. It's extremely helpful.

Maybe they are truffles? you could be rich. I can't really see things in the piccies, so bit hard to say.

Are they on the roots, or in the mix? Maybe take some higher resolution pics.

I wonder if maybe they are black scale, a small insect? They should pop off if pushed with your fingernail.

I can see they are tinny mushrooms. I wonder if there is a way to desinfect the orchid. But i dont think they would do any harm to the plant. As they all mingle together in a wild i am sure
