Black tips on my leaves.

One big leaf and tips of the 2 new growths are becoming black. It seems to be starting from the tip downward. Could that be some sort of mold? The tips of the new growth seem dry too. aaaggghhh!!

They don't look mushy. Are you using fert? I'm thinking either fertilizer or your water source.

It looks like it could be fertilizer burn. Do you fertilize?

I use a fertilizer, but I thought it would only burn the roots if it was too much. I don't use anything on lhe leaves. Also, I always use distilled water.

Too much fert can show up as leaf tip burn as well, and you don't have to spray it on the leaves to burn them.

As for how much is "too much"? There are so many variables. Back when I did fertilize, I'd be fertilizing 2 plants exactly the same and one leaf tip would burn while another plant's leaf tips did not. I think it depends on the plant, the concentration of the fert, the frequency of the fert and probably a few other things.

Weird. I'll lay off the fert for a bit and see how it goes. It sounds like you don't use fert anymore... what do you use? I ordered worm tea the other day, so I'm still waiting to try that.

Thanks all!
