leaves with bad spotting. Bulbophyllum

This is my first Bulbophyllum and a recent purchase. One of the leaves had spotting, which spread rapidly. I removed the leaf but am no noticing problems on other leaves. One has a large white area! Is this a bacterial infection or something else? I'd like to know how to treat it. The plant was not cheap

I can take more photos if needed. Here's the leaf I removed (front and back) as well as a photo of the plant.

It lives outdoors on my porch in a relatively shady spot. Doesn't get direct sunlight.

Ah looks like Bulbo. Frank Smith, mine is about to bloom again too.

Looks like it could be rot. Has it been raining a lot in San Fran? Really foggy and humid. These conditions can make good environment for rot. It also looks like it is getting a little too much water which would make sense.

It's Bulbo Jersey The colors are more saturated in the photo than they are in person. It's been very dry and hot the past week in SF, and I live downtown where the fog is mild.

But it's a recent purchase and I suspect it could have been getting too much water beforehand. It's potted pretty tightly in a container without much drainage. Maybe I should repot after it finishes blooming.

How are yours potted up? In a basket?
