Snails

I have been looking for this darn snail for a few weeks now and can't find it(or them) He/she must be real tiny but is causing damage to my chids. I was thinking of spreading Sluggo on the surface of the planting material but then thought that, when watering, it might affect the plant. Does anyone have any expierence using this product on orchids
Thanks
David

I did it once, it turned into a nasty mess, the watering of the plant kind of dissolved the little bits. I tried to pick most of them out after this, but some just had to wait and dissolve. There didn't seem to be any lasting damage to the plants though.

Have you checked at night with a flashlight? Have you put out a shallow dish of beer?

Hummer put out a little plate of snail bait somewhere among your orchids and let them come to you.

Or even tried 'bio-slug pellets' or soaked the whole plant for a good 20 mins to drown the beasts?
