My Baby has Spots

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my baby
I will post three photos because they aren't very clear.
So hopefully you can get a better idea.

My first thought is sunburn.
My second thought would be fungus; like black spot on a rose leaf.

I question the Sunburn since I am up north
and it hasn't seen much sun since we got back
up here. If it is BlackSpot would Worm Tea Spray help

As you said, the pics aren't real clear but I don't think black spot is the problem.

I could be way off here but I would look at the roots...the medium appears to be really wet (maybe you just watered) but my Encyclia and Prosthechea (formerly Encyclia) like to dry a good deal between waterings...especially this time of the year. And, the foliage seems a bit "weepy" to me. I'd check the roots for signs of trouble.

Just my guess.

Enc Cindy is 50% Enc tempense. This native Florida orchid loses most of its leaves on the older pseudobulbs. Also with young plants you should expect more loss of leaves on all orchids as its grows and more mature growth begins to support the plant.

You may well be keeping this plant too wet. With those huge pseudobulbs Encyclia can take long dry periods. Native tempense go 3-4 months this time of year without water in the wild. I do not recommend that much, but let it go totally dry between waterings.

Take it out of the pot and see the roots. It it is too wet leave it out of the pot overnight to dry and then re-pot. Spread the medium out thin to dry faster. If the medium does not dry fast enough you can dry it in the oven. This is an easy way to treat any plant you over water.

Worm tea will not do anything for black spot fungus, but drying the plant will.

You repotted it in the mix at the front of the Shade House.
