What's up with my leaves?

So on a couple of my phals I've noticed that edges of the older leaves are getting a bit "raggedy" for lack of a better word. Then I noticed last night that one of the new leaves has a small hole or area where the leaf is thinner. So I am now worried that there's something more sinister going on, like mites.

Can anyone confirm the mites/some other issue? or alternatively, tell me I'm worrying about nothing?

The picture below is of the new leaf with the small brown damage in the centre. It's pretty small but it's in the centre of the large leaf at the top.

I do not know what causes the leaves to do this. A few of my phals did this. That does not appear to be damage from spider mites, which appears as pitted whitish areas where they're feasting.

some of my phals do that too, no idea why, but no signs of bugs. I had one phal that grew an entire leaf with kind of scars up the center rib/fold, the entire length of it, kind of like the little spot yours has only much worse. the leaf was more folded than normal and had a strong curl to it, but the next leaf was totally normal, no idea what caused it.

Ok good! It's reassuring to know its something that just happens sometimes rather than an issue.

Thanks for your input
