Something (Fungus? Pests?) is Harming my Phals! *cries*

Good day, gentle people.

I had originally contacted my orchid vendor about this matter (June 1) but I haven't heard back from them as yet. And the matter is getting worse, so I'm copy/pasting what I had sent them to save time.
"I have another question, though: what kind of pest or fungus could be causing these brown pock marks on the leaves?

I notice that they only appear on the orchids downstairs, not on the ones on the upstairs balcony. If it's caused by a pest (or even a fungus), what can we spray on the leaves to prevent more damage?"

I've attached the images I sent them to this post. I'm also going to send photos that I took today; it looks like it's worsening. I did brush a finger along the brown stuff and it's quite powdery, but not the easiest thing to come off the leaves.

Help, please! I might lose these affected plants but I want to save the ones I still have - if it's not too late.

These are today's photos (June 6).

I've included two dead leaves that had been taken off just a little before I took these.

And these are the two (currently untouched) plants that I want to keep looking nice and green.

Pickup some physan 20 for your infected phal and quarantine it away from your other plants....

Thank you! I'm calling around for it first thing tomorrow.

I think two are on death's door, but I will do what I can to save the others.

Yeah, unfortunately those 2 really infected look beyond hope but still worth a try! Good luck, keep us posted.

So, I called the plant care store on Monday and they said they didn't have any Physan 20 BUT they did have a substitute. Since desperate times call for desperate measures, I bought it.

I didn't get the chance to spray them this morning since I had to leave out early, but I'm aiming to get it done tomorrow morning. I want to get them all done by 7:30 am the latest since it tends to get hot here by 6:30. Summer in the tropics is no joke.

I had removed two more leaves, and two whole plants are definitely goners. They'd both been sending out new leaves but neither of the leaves have budged a millimeter for days. Oh well. You live and you learn.

I have to concentrate on the remaining ones now, especially the two that are untouched.

Sorry to hear you lost both of them. If the others are showing no signs of infection you may be in the clear. But it's always good to have plant medicine on hand!

It's still too early to tell how/if they'll recover, but I haven't had to remove any leaves since Thursday.

I'll take that as a good sign.
