Phalaenopsis leaf spots

I have noticed over the past few weeks brown spots appearing on my Phal I-hsin sesame. They are NOT watery or growing (yet) spots just dry spots that seem to be appearing. They are both on top and bottom of leaves and some are very close to the crown. Otherwise the plant is super healthy, I think every root in the pot has active growth tips and the newer leaf is growing as well. Today I rubbed the leaves down with alcohol and applied cinnamon when it dried. I have good air circulation, temp are around 77. Is this a fungus? Should I be worried?

I occasionally see random, small spots on the leaves of my Phals and other orchids grown outside, though mine look different from yours.

Possibly biting/sucking insect damage? Mechanical damage of some sort? IDK for sure, but that is what I have guessed on my plants. As you say, keep an eye on it to verify nothing is spreading.

You might want to isolate this plant for awhile, just in case.

And check for spidermites using a cotton with 70 alcohol on it. Rub on all leaves especially under them, start in the non spotty zones, finish by the spots. If there's something fishy you have then less chances to spread them.

If there's yellow-brown traces on the cotton, you won spidermites.

Thanks for the replies. I have had a lot of experience with spider mites, I had them on my oncidium pretty badly. I also have had them on other houseplants. They are horrible. I don't have any webbing or sight of any insects. I increased my air circulation next to the plant. As long as the spots don't seem to be spreading I am not too worried. I was most nervous that some spots were close the the crown. I think it is fungal, and hopefully increasing air will do the trick! Thanks again
