Phal schilleriana leaf

Hi geeks,

This is my phalaenopsis schilleriana that I bought on July 2012.
Several days ago, the leaves turn yellow. Anyone have idea what's going on?
Any comment appreciated. :D

When I get a leaf that does that it usually means it has a slight bacterial infection in the spot where the leaf is attached to the stem. I apply a 3% peroxide solution to the spot to keep it from spreading. I don't know if you have the same product in Indonesia.

The other reason could be the leaf is not connected to the stem in that spot so it is yellowing. I currently have a mounted Phal. sumatrana with very narrow leaves at the base where they connect. I jerked the mount one day putting it back in place and tore half of the leaf away from the stem. The leaf still functions on the connected side so I leave it alone.

Thanks Brooke.
I don't have such product in Indonesia.
The leaf is in good condition and not broken at the base.
I think it is bacteria infection.
I will just cut it tomorrow.
