My Beautiful Phal has scale

I have a rescue phal that has been blooming magnificently for at least three months now. Sitting on my kitchen table.
It has a huge and heavy flower spike, with two new ones beginning to grow off of that! Just last night though I noticed scale on the underside of the flowers.

Can I just pick off the scale and treat, and leave there? There are no other plants near it.

Thanks in advance.

That is what I would do. I learned that spraying the flowers/buds can often cause them to wither.
