Help for my failing Phal. ???

Here is a picture:
The one remaining leaf is all yellow but the roots are still green. Is there any way to save this orchid please send me some advice.

Oh no, sorry to hear about your phal! Looks like it suffered from crown rot. If the roots and rhizome are still alive, then the plant may put out a basal keiki. But from my personal experience, if I were you, I would go buy a new plant as a replacement.

Hello Calypso, you can try sphag and bag, check out threads about it here in the forums, but it will not be guaranteed. I think, in this scenario, you just have to let go and get a new one, and learn from it. Good luck.

So sorry to see that, I think most of us have had the same poor orchid at one time or another, especially in the beginning. It is how we learn to care for these babies, you are not alone
You can do as suggested, sphag and bag, a good experience, but, sadly, I would give that chid a proper burial, and replace with another, being careful not to get water in the crown, so the crown rot does not reoccur with the new one.
