Ahhh mites help

Ok, two of my orchids have mites... please tell me there is something I can do asap to limit this problem, They are these tiny black bugs...
HELP

Hi. try this product, I have used it for many years regularly each year.
No mites/thrips etc.

They are not on the leaves but in the potting medium

Ok, I think they are springtails, they jump and look like them... they are only in the potting medium where there is bark, three in total have them, one with a bunch and the other two just a few I noticed. They have been removed to a seperate location with less humidity to dry them out a bit. The one Den I saved was soaked in full bark medium so it explains why that one has the most. I sprayed a light mix of soap and water and hit a few spots with it (Very little bit) Hope just drying them out will help reduce the population. After bloom they will be repotted.

Any others thoughts on a treatment, I read through some past posts but any ideas would be appreciated! Tkx.

mites that live in the soil is a good mites. They break down soil material. Mites that is found on the leaves is bad bad. But mostly they are red, white, yellow. No black mites that i know of.

Yes sorry, they are white! And they freaked me out... from what your saying it's aligned with some other info I found. They ae in a few other of my plants that contain bark, I isolated them all and will re-pot some 2mrw...
