My problem vase.

I have a sturdy glass cylindrical vase, 1 foot 4 inches deep with a 4 inch diameter, just crying out for something to grow in it - I think! I am wondering if an air plant might be OK. When I bought the vase, a small Phalaenopsis in an equally small pot was inside. Since removing the orchid, it has appeared to be much happier with the leaves not so constricted. Any thoughts would be most welcome.

TIA.
V.

Vandas seem to be happy grown in glass vases. I have an Ascocentrum Miniatum which I keep in a glass vase and I soak the roots every day..it has flowered twice this year.
Good Luck & happy growing!

Thank you for your reply Nenella, I presume you mean the roots of your Ascocentrum miniatum are suspended in the glass vase, not the whole plant? I'm hoping to find a plant that will happily grow in my narrow vase, including any flowers. A small fern has been recommended.
