Aren't they cute?

Today I received 2 new Schoenorchis fragrans I ordered since the first one I got looks a little sickly. Then a surprise, one was in bloom! They are so cute. I just love them. I put them together so they have company.
I told my hubby I ordered them prior to the ban.

Awwww...they're soooo cute! Love them.

I bought one almost 2 years ago and it's finally in spike. I'm looking to buy a second one because I burnt a few of the leaves on my first one. I had it in full sun for a short while. Now I know better.

Adorable! Sch. fragrans is one of my all-time favorite miniatures. Your new ones look great. Mine was mounted like yours and I had to water them frequently, once a day at least, more if it was the hot dry season.

Arlene, I hope I can get them to re-bloom next year. The first one may have suffered sun burn too. The top two leaves turn lighter and brown on the edges.

Kevin, I think it's my favorite mini. too. I want to buy more and cover the cork with them. That would look great! When my ban is lifted that is.

Thanks Patti. Next time I get caught red handed, I'll tell him that!
Thanks JoBeth. I can't get over how small the flowers and plants are. Even my husband likes it. That's saying a lot.

Cindy,

I think he likes it because it doesn't take up much space. I'd take that as it's ok to buy mini orchids.

Those are really cute, I hadn't seen them before. So many orchids, so little space!!

That was a pretty good one that you ordered them before the ban (little man laughing)

Can you use that again??

Wow, those are so tiny and precious looking! Too cute! Now I want to make a mini vivarium. I have so many darn fish tanks. Is that something you could mount in a vivarium?

I would like to know how everyone is growing theirs too. I moved mine to a north facing window with no direct light. I think I burned the first one when I had it by a west facing sliding door and got some late afternoon/evening sun. I spray mine 1-2 times a every day wetting the bark.

I grow mine on a windowsill. It gets dappled southwest sunlight and doing fine. Before, I had it on a different windowsill that gets full south light which caused the leaves to burn.

I water mine 3-4 times a week since I live in a low humidity environment.
