Cathy Beck in a basket--hmmmmm-I was going to wait until it got a little bigger, but yours looks terrific Where did you get those octagonal baskets? Did you order them or buy them locally? I like them so much better than the old square ones...

Pat I puck up baskets from shows because they are so cheap. I like the octagonals also, but they do offer less potting space. If you want a REALLY small basket like this one, order a three inch oct. Kelleys Korners online carries a lot of sizes.

I was about to say Kelly's Korner as well. Just remember, you have to make a minimum $30 order now. (It used to be lower) I want to know where you get the coconut halves. I never see them being offered anywhere.

Thanks Connie and Jenny--I'll check out Kelly's Korner. I have to get some of those octagonal baskets. Thirty dollars minimum, huh? I can meet that amount really fast if they sell orchids, too

Looks REALLY nice. I'm going to check out my local home depot. I saw some wooden slatt baskets similar to yours - but square. There the last time I was in the Orchid area (picked up some spikes to hold orchids).
