Mounted a Max. tenuifolia

I sandwiched the roots with Spag. and then placed a layer of coconut hairs that I cut from one of my trees.

I think it came out pretty good ( I didn't think it would at first). It is holding on tight.

By the way, considering it's a Max...I should mount on the bottom of the piece, right? Similar to how you would with a Catt?

Sorry here are the pics.

By the way, the bottle...is my next project. I plan on mount something on it.

Damien,

You did a fine job on that mount. Yes, mounting towards the bottom is the way to go since Max. tenuifolia grows upward.

P.S. -- What's the bottle for??

Duh! I didn't catch on. But then, I was thinking using it to make a mound for a Neofinetia falcata.

Hey! I just mounted my little Max. tenuifolia. Your plant looks a little healthier than mine though. I mounted on tree fern fiber and a little sphag.

good luck!(cant wait for those fragrant coconut flowers)
