Question Where to mount a Dgmra?

I'm a really newbie at Orchid growing. We just moved down to the Florida Keys and are lucky enough to be able to grow orchids outside, year-round. I've been seeing orchids growing on trees, and have to try it.

I bought a Dgmra Jay Yamada 'Kauai' from an orchid grower at our local flea market. I've tied it and a Phalaenopsis which I brought with me from NY to a tree in our yard. The orchids get no direct sun. The Phalaenopsis seems to be doing well with roots growing and a stalk growing. The dgmra has yellowing leaves. Should it be getting more direct sun? To much/too little water? The temps have been perfect with about 70% humidity.

Any ideas?

Thanks orchids4me. It's tied onto a tree right now, so no pot involved. Lots of brown roots (which is how it came), but I do see some green roots coming out.
