Another mount - my favorite so far

Another delicious piece of grapewood from -k- that just seemed right for my Phal lueddemanniana 'Oscar'. It was a little overpotted, or so it seemed - there were some crazy roots on that bad boy!

So here it is...

Really cool. I agree, this is the best so far. I really like how it essentially has its own stand.

Very nice mounting job, Brigitte. I think my Phals do much better when I mount them than when kept in pots, 'cause I don't think I have the waterng down. I Either over or under water them it seems, except for one mammoth I got potted in bark mix that's the healthiest Phal I'll probably ever have!
Cheers,
Tony

It looks great! The more I look at mounts, the more I like them!

I thought it was working on a bud, but I think I see the nub of a root starting. This may be a keiki. Stay tuned!

Nice job, Brigitte!

I'm holding off mounting any phals until after I bring everyone indoors and see what kind of space I've got left for mounts. And then, I need to worry about temperatures.

Good luck with yours...is that grapewood it's on? It will look great when roots find their way into all those nooks and crannies!
