Its def pretty cool, but I think you risk losing many of those exposed roots through the adjustment stage. You may want to cover up the xposed roots if possible...

That should help, you don't want to lose those great roots! I know how much of a bear it is to try and mount plants with tons of roots that are unruly...a few lessons learned there...lol Since the mount will benefit from the additional evaporation based on your description that will also help. Will be interesting to see how you make out with it... Lots... Will get around to posting some photos one of these coming days!
