Mounts under Lights

I just bought a few mini-catts mounted on a stick. I wonder how folks handle stick mounts under lights indoors. Do you hang the stick upright? Or laying down?

Thanks

All my mounts hang, never thought about lying them down. Although I suppose you could lie them down if you have no where to hang them.

Excellent question as I've a few mounts for the first time that will need to go under lights in a few weeks. I was thinking of hanging them on some sort of stand made of plexiglass, plastic, even wire, or other material - similar to noted in simplified drawing here -

When I grew under lights I put some of my mounts in bigger clay pots with wet sphag in the bottom of the pot. The mount sat on the sphag and help create a little additional humidity.

I also hung some of the mounts on the edge of the fluoro fixtures BUT this was the regular fixtures, not the hot T5s.
