Thumbs up Mount - Phal-Fern-Primrose

Noid Phal
Kimberly Queen Fern
Primrose

When sifting through layers of gardening stuff I came across a piece of driftwood my wife and I picked up last spring. I always had a mount in mind for it; had soaked it and everything but then it got put to the side for summer in exchange for gardening.

I used a small hammer and a chisel to cut deep pockets into the wood then rotated the chisel to produce grooves throughout the pockets and length of the wood.
I attached a plastic tray at the bottom with a mix of moss/soil/stones since the Primrose is mounted closest to the bottom some of the roots need a place to go Also serves as a means to catch any loose potting medium!

Whole process took about three days to complete...

Tkx felt like doing something a little different, and since I wasn't feeling good this past weekend I had a little extra time.
I figured if by planting the fern and primrose below the phal it might help keep humidity up.
It also helped fill a void by the window, when the ledge space is filled up it's time to build up!
