Thank you sunshine. It is very gentle of you saying that me English is fine. Yes lmartiny i have quite a few of them but since some of them are in Hobart-Tasmania- and the rest are in Melbourne-Victoria it is not easy to take care of them .I hope sooner or later to decide where i am going to live so it will be easier for me to get proper photos of them with the correct names and to post them here.I love Orchidgeeks and i think that is the best forum all over the world for orchids. Anyway thank you for your comments..

Nice mounts, be careful and don't water too often, that moss will hold a lot of moisture that is why use very little extra material to mount.

Thank you for your suggestion davetheorchidaddic.I ll keep it in my mind. Now that is summer here in Australia I water them twise a day and they are happy. The most of them need a lot of humidity and I think that is hard to overwater them.Do you think that two times is it too much?

Dom, the mounts look good and the plants all seem to be in full growth mode which is good! I live in Melbourne and I dont' think twice a week is too much in summer, but our summers are hotter and drier than yours (except for the last few days in which we've received more than 40mm or rain). But there's something that's much more important that how often you water and that's the needs of the plant. For example, a cattleya will want to dry out between waterings but a stellis will not. The stellis will want to be kept evenly moist all the time, never dry. So if you water both the same, either the stellis will get too dry or the cattleya will stay too wet. It may be that you water some of your orchids twice a week in summer but others you might water almost every day. Also, here in Melbourne my watering habits change depending on the season. In summer I water a lot more but in winter I water much less because it is cool. Take for example my Den tetragonum, they're probably my favorite Aussie native. I water them 2-4 times a week in summer (depending on how hot and dry it is) but in winter when it is cool an rainy (I grow mine outdoors) sometimes I go a month without watering at all. Does that make sense? Let me know and I can further clarify if necessary. By the way....I LOVE Hobart! I've been there 4 times and I'll be going back in August when the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra performs my most recent orchestra piece. Oh and I wanted to ask, which cold-growing Laelias are you growing?
