Watering mounted orchids in Fall/Winter?

I have just acquired a number of mounted orchids (all hard to find as mounted orchids don't seem to be to readily available) and now my question is ok, how often do you water them this time of year - FALL/WINTER - I'm in Northern New Jersey - Zone 6 - the mounts are on a trellis on the inside wall of a large windowsill. Do I water them daily? I have Oncidiums, species orchids, aerangis and angraecum, and have Masdevallia orchids coming and Phals (all mounted). I also have a Howeara mounted, leaves are yellowing - so don't know if its the watering or the cooler temps.

Hope someone can help me out here. Thanks for your help.

I have one oncidium mounted in my window here in pittsburgh, I should think the climate is pretty close. It neede watered every day in the summer, now it seems to need it about every three days. I give the ball of sphag around the root a gentle squeeze to see how wet it is, when it's almost dry, I water.
This is the only mounted chid that I have though, I'm sure someone a bit more knowledgeable will be around soon.

Watering frequency varies dramatically depending on the orchid, what it os mounted on/with, and your growing conditions so it is nearly impossible to say specifically you should water once or twice a week, etc., etc.

Different orchids have different watering requirements. Their needs can range from being kept gently and evenly moist to needing a completely dry winter rest and everything in between. Mounts dry out at different rated depending on what the mount is, how humid your growing conditions are, how warm, etc., etc.

The best thing to do is to learn what conditions each of these new orchids needs. Look at the culture sheets here on this forum or at AOS | Members Only Area and see what they need. Then water them all and see how fast they dry out in your conditions. Then you will see how often you need to water your mounts.
