Question Favorite wood for mounting?

What is your favorite wood for mounting orchids? I've been using teak, but would like to experiment with different kinds of wood.

What type(s) of wood, in your opinion, should I avoid altogether?

I have 2 orange osage wood planks, but don't know whether these would be ok. Your input is greatly appreciated.

I use a lot of grapewood and mopani, mostly because they're easy to get and durable. Mopani is especially nice for orchids that really love acid feeds.
