Pencil orchid new mounting

Time for a new orchid stick at my place so i started with this Pencil orchid (Dendrobium teretifolium) that was looking for a willing hoast branch.

it has quite a large amounts of roots so i did not want to break it up to wrap around the mount, what do people think?? should i break it up so it looks better?? i was thinking i would wait till spring when i starts growing again and see if i can.
thanks Azz

I think it looks good as it is. Should grow well as it's an Aussie native.

I vote leave it as well! It looks very natural. Don't mess with success.
