My recent driftwood finds

I had to leave these behind on our last trip, but this time we had room for them. I have been picking up some rescues in the meantime. I tossed the wood in the pool for a couple of days and then sat them in the rain for a couple more to rid the salt. I haven't decided where to drill or how to fashion the hangers.

My recent driftwood finds-driftwood-den-1.jpg One of these Dens I already saved from a prior mount effort. Now he's getting it again.

My recent driftwood finds-driftwood-phal-3.jpg I'm still pondering this one. May just be the angle in the photo.

My recent driftwood finds-driftwood-undecided.jpg Have not decided this one. May become different garden art.

My recent driftwood finds-lowes-saves-for-mounts.jpg These are some of the subjects, er.... "rescues" for the experiment. Noids and color will be a surprise.

Fun! The subjects look very healthy from the go. Did you paint the wood white or is that the natural color? The second pic. remind me of a person with one leg bent.

The wood is natural. And yes, I saw an old man with knobby-kneed legs. (after I placed the orchid, and now considering it's positioning) But once I have it on a tree.....it may be OK.

How cool. The long branching one would be perfect for an orchid tree!
