Jewels in hydro

I decided to put my Jewel orchids, Dossinadoes ‘Indra’s Web’, that I got from Hoosier in hydro.

At first their leaves wilted and they seems pretty unhappy, but I let them adjust and now they seem to be doing well.

The larger one has a new left starting and the other one is perking up and I am sure will start new leaves soon!

The pics are a bit blurry, I will try to update later during the day.

Well, are they still improving? You are brave to stick with S/H in the face of dropping and wilted leaves. Here's hoping things are getting better.

The change is that I took off the wilted dried leaves and was able to put both of them together. They are improving and growing a new leaf!

Great! Post an update when you can show off a new leaf, please. I am trying to revive a couple of sick babies and love some inspiration.

Some of my small ones smaller than those, i forgot to water for a while, they look bad but may pull through all have a new leaf coming up lol. These are hard to kill as long as you pick up ony hints it gives you that it doesn't like something and fix it before it dies it will recover in time The one ludiscia discolor I have for four years and it has litterally been through hell and back and also the only orchid i kept alive until i started getting serious about orchids early last year lol. I'm sure the one in hydro will improve qiuckly, when they are young they grow like crazy with enough water and good light lol!

Here's the two worst ones lol! they will be ok though lol.

That is good. I took some new pictures last night and the new leaf is growing well.

I will try to post this evening. I glad they are growing.

Hi, thanks for posting the pics. I also have a jewell orcid from Hoosier. I think it died. It looks dried up. I will keep it around and see if it recovers like y'alls are doing.
