Bulbo and S/H

I would like to know if someone grow bulbo in S/H. I ask this question because i have some bulbo. I grow my bulbo in woolrock, but i have one who don't like'it, a bulbo laxiflorum. I have to change'it to peat moos, but i don't like'it and i don't know if it was a good idea to put them in S/H???

No body have cultural experience with bulbo in S/H!? People don't like this beautyfull flower!! I think, if we love orchids we need bulbo!!

I'm sorry Bast, I don't grow any bulbos in s/h. I use either sphag or CHC to retain moisture they need. If you decide to try it, please post the results for us.

Bast, sorry I never saw this the first time. Unfortunately I do not have any Bulbo. The only orchids that I have heard as not doing well in S/H were Tolumnia. I can't say for sure though since I have never tried with the Bulbo myself.

I am growing several Bulbos in S-H, most species, and 1 hybrid (Jersey) and they are growing very well in both the 2-pot system and the 1 pot system, using expanded clay pellets.

I have a Bulbo. Frank Smith in semi-hydro and it is doing very well. Since most Bulbos prefer very moist conditions I planted mine low (closer to the reservoir). let us know what you decide.
