Just about to dive into semi-hydropnic but how much KLN should I use

I just got my pots from Ray yesterday ...I'm super excited! I was going to soak the medium yesterday and he recommended soaking it in K-L-N overnight...but how much K-L-N do I use vs my primagra vs amount of water???

Check out Ray's website. Lot's of great info about getting started there. The amount of KLN you use will depend on the amount of water you have which depends on the amount of Prime Agra you're soaking.

Hi Brigitte...I checked Ray's site first but I didn't see anything as far as in how much kln to use vs primagra vs water. All I saw was just to use kln when you soak the medium.

Hmmm, I thought it was in the forum there. Well, its been a few weeks since I did mine, but if I remember correctly, there are directions on the back of the KLN bottle that match what I did. I keep a tablespoon taped to my bottle, so I would have used 1 tblsp per gallon of water for the final soak.

Ahh....terrific! I will start the process tonight by cleaning it with some epsom salt then do the final rinse with kln tomorrow so that I will be ready to pot by Saturday!!
