My Aspasia lunata is doing "something"!

I was looking over my chids yesterday, and saw "something" poking out of the leaf-bract. I think maybe a bloom, since new growth doesn't originate from there? I hope so... Yay!
Rats! I just tried to post a couple of pictures. I did SOMETHING wrong! I sized them and everything... I'll have to call my son later for a refresher course. Grrrrrrr. Computers and I just don't get along well sometimes.

Great news patticake. How are you growing this? Why don't you list your conditions, what you're providing, etc., so the other growers in the project can reference and compare yours to theirs....such as moi

So far I've noticed mine get's pretty thirsty rather quickly.

My Aspasia lunata is getting a bigger bud! It's taking a lot longer than Sandra's!!! It's doing well.... Getting bigger! I give it sun... Dappled sun during the day- and moisture when needed. Hopefully, it will "pop" soon!!!

I don't have a clue what it's suppose to look like but I see some dark spotting. Can't wait to see it open. Good growing to the both of you.

solay, have a look in the Aspasia forum, under my thread, Aspasia Bloom.

Patti, my plant has seemed to stall, still has the 2 blooms with all the buds but, growing slower now, not sure why. Aside from all the great info Norm contributed and with Clarita's smarts with species, I've been trying to adapt to their suggestions. This is a hard plant to find enough info. on. Any info. that you may have found on it, please pass along!

Looking forward to seeing how nicely yours is doing.
