| Since many of them are small, it might be a while! I do have some that are producing some healthy new growth, so hopefully I'll have some bloom from a couple in a few months. We'll see!

| Great list! I see you have Bletilla striata... Do you keep them in pots or do you have them in the ground? I just received mine and I'm scared to plant them in the ground...

| kazjak- I have some seedlings of Bletilla striata- VERY tiny! It will be a long time before I make any decision on where to plant them! I know of a lot of people that grow them outside- but they're a lot further south than I. Check out my thread on my Ellen seeds update.

| I think you are an addict! I don't know much yet about all the different types of orchids but looks like you might of cover most of them. Ya, I could only afford tiny seedling too and will have to be very very very patient.

The one BIG section of orchids that I don't have, is Cymbidiums!!! That's what you have the most of! I don't think I could grow them here... I love your posts because I can "grow" Cyms through you!!!! Thanks for your photos, etc.!

| Hey, Jenny! ![]() My Zygo is my newest addition! It's a seedling from a cross of Z. San Dieguito 'Miki' x Z. Imagination 'Sparkles'. I got it off E-bay from Larry's orchids. (NOT to be confused with our Jerry!!!) I've had pretty good luck with him in the past, and the price was really inexpensive, so I went for it! The plant arrived, much bigger than I expected, and quite squashed!!! The 20" leaves that I imagine were once quite lovely, were smushed into a wad! I'm taking care of it, and hope it will be o.k. down the road. Most of the damage is permanent, but some of the leaves are perking back up! I'll keep you posted.

| WOW! Patticake, that is a very nice "little bit of everything" list. Although, since Den. covers ~ 1200 species you might be a little "thin" there. ![]() |

| OMG! I would give up too!! What a collection! I cannot imagine the time necessary to look after all these plants... |
