Just mounted my new orchids!

I now have the following mounted on my orchid log:

Gongora histrionica
Coelogyne massangeana
Dendrobium loddigesii
Miltonia or Oncidium NOID
Epidendrum oerstedii
Laelia dayana
Tuberolabium quisumbingii
Gastrochilus somai
Trichopilia hennisiana

I have room for twice as many, and even more if some are mounted upside down
If the NOID turns out to be a hybrid, I'm going to relegate it to the miscellaneous epiphyte mini-log hanging in my living room - which currently has Aeschynanthus, Cryptocereus, and a couple bromeliads.

Cool idea. I have seen people who have logs like this but they usually got them from the wildwhich is bad. I have never seen one made like that before. That Stanhopea looks like it is doing amazing. All those roots and the flowers...

Nice. I like that. Very cool. Looks like you have had that in the works for a while. Is it heavy? And your Gongora is blooming. I'm envious. Mine is doing nothing.

OMG!!! That's so pretty. That's something I wanted to try in the greenhouse. You know, a living log with ferns and moss and orchids on it. It looks like the plants love that set up. The roots all look green and healthy. Thanks for sharing. I must try it one of these days. What kind of log is that by the way. Thanks.

That is really pretty... How are you able to keep it moist and the relative humidity up? What is that tube in the right hand side of the photo that looks like a dryer hose with a strange lid on it? Is that some sort of a fan? I have never really seen a grouping mounted like that, very creative. Thanks for posting the photos.

I love how they are mounted on the log, absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to see how they go.

(P.S. I know this sounds puerile but the title of your original post needs changing).
