Wow!! I'm extremely jealous! You have some interesting sounding plants, there! The Paph vietnamense x Magic Lantern sounds awesome. I love both of them. It should be a cool cross! Nice haul!

I am just hoping at this point the kovachii hybrid will survive. It might need to be replated as the plants are tiny. So fingers crossed for that.

But the vietnamense x Magic Lantern is also very exciting.

I am building the new orchid house this weekend so I can house these babies. I am running out of room in the original one!

Wow....Some VERY COOL stuff there. The vietnamense x Magic Lantern sounds very cool, maybe it will looks like a Magic Lantern with bigger petals? Although it sounds like an obvious choice I hadn't heard of this cross. I looked it up and found it's only just very recently been registered and named, 2008. It's got a whacky name: Paph Wyruna Vietnam Magic. LOL How's that for a name? LOL

Thanks guys, I haven't checked for new registered names so I will have to do that.

Hopefully they will be ok outside after i build the new orchid house this weekend.

I should have got more of the vietnamense x Magic Lantern cross by the sounds of it......

Hi, Certinally did some serious shopping, I bought the cross Paph Fanaticum x hangianum
a few years ago and hope it will flower in the next few years

I bought a flask of Cym Valley Olympic 'Rose' 2+ years ago and from the reports on its flowers, it also should be a ripper along with Cym Valley Olympic 'Lauchie'
Good luck with your purchases

Hi Bolero,
If you have time.... Could you post pics of your orchid houses and growing spaces there? I'm trying to get some ideas on how to build one. Got one idea from Berniep with the shade tent and lattice set up. I would be very grateful if you'd be willing to share this.
And very nice haul on your new acquisitions,
Thanks for sharing them.

My New Orchid House!

I am building the second one hopefully this weekend and will show you photos. It's a premade one that you put together but should look pretty good when it's finished.

Enjoyed the photos.

Wow! Wished I have a backyard & could make a GH like yours. Maybe, someday... I'd loved to have all your orchids, too, LOL :-)
