Phew! That's that. One interesting thing, is that my Phals are nuts this year. Out of 26 Phals, only three are not in spike and/or blooming... But the equestris will stop flowering soon, so then the numbers of Phals flowering will assume more normal proportions. So, am I an expert on Phals to get so many to flower? Nope, I got rid of the more reluctant bloomers due to health issues, and this is the result. Pretty darn good, if I say so myself.

The thing I'm the most excited about at the moment is this guy:

I bought it as a Paph. henryanum, but all evidence suggests that it's something else. It's leaning towards it being a villosum or a villosum hybrid, but until its identity is revealed, I'll probably die of curiosity.

So, since I apparently don't have a cute little Henry, I ordered a new one today. Naturally, my new Henry couldn't travel alone, so I ordered three friends to keep it company on the way:
Paph. dayanum
Paph. triginum 'Tigerland' x self
Paph. wilhelminae

I'm quite looking forward to my new acquisitions.

I am, and I'm very glad that I am, since I have absolutely no self discipline when it comes to the orchids I want. So it's lucky that I'm only interested in a handful of different genera, otherwise I would be swamped in them.

Haha! It does! Must see that movie again, it's been too long.
