| Hi BlakeeBoo, It seems that you have a phalaenopsis. If you live in a tropical location, the pod, if it survives, will be ready for green pod germination in 90 days. If you want to sow the seeds dry, you just have to keep an eye on the pod, after the 90 days, to see when it is about to split. Glen

| Many people watch the pod and the stem for discoloration. Unless you accurately tag the pod and date the fertilization, you may not be able to use it green. When all else fails, watch for yellowing of the stem.
